Capacity depends on the size of the rink as well as the age of the participants. Smaller rinks are ideal for children’s parties, while larger rinks allow more skaters at the same time. Our team can recommend the best size based on your event and expected guests.

Is the mobile ice rink safe for beginners?

Yes. The rink is designed to be safe and beginner-friendly, and barriers around the rink help support new skaters. For younger children, skating aids such as penguins may also be available as optional extras.

Do you provide mobile ice rink hire outside Gauteng?

Unfortunately not we focus our rentals within Johannesburg and Pretoria (selected areas)

Delivery costs and logistics will depend on distance.

How much space is required for a mobile ice rink?

Space requirements depend on the rink size. For example:

• 10m x 4m rink – ideal for smaller parties and events

• 8m x 6m rink – suitable for larger groups

Extra space of at least 1m around the rink and 2m at the entrance is recommended for skate changes and safe movement of guests.
